Baseball, often called America’s pastime, is a sport that teaches discipline, teamwork, and resilience—both on and off the field. Gar-Field Baseball is a spring sport that competes in the Cardinal District and has become a consistent postseason contender, having qualified for the district tournament in 3 of the last 5 years as well as a regional tournament appearance in 2023.
This past season, the team proudly captured the title at the Jeff Baker Classic Spring Break Tournament, showcasing the program’s growth and competitive spirit. Whether you're an experienced player or a multi-sport athlete looking to contribute, Gar-Field Baseball welcomes students who are ready to work hard, learn the game, and be part of a winning tradition.
Tryout Dates: February 23, 24, and 25, 2025

Head Coach: Felix Perez
Coach Perez will be going into his second year as the head coach of the Baseball team. He started coaching for the program in 2025. Coach Perez teaches in the Special Education department and is also the Bowling Club Sponsor here at Gar-Field. He is a graduate of Bethany College (WV) where he played collegiate baseball as a Pitcher and was an alum of Gar-Field High School.
