THE HISTORY
Mr. Gilmer Garber, a local farmer, and Mr. Grover Manderfield, a local businessman, donated 20 acres of land adjacent to Highway One for use as a high school. The school opened on December 8, 1953. In 1972, a new Gar-Field was erected in the present location.
