Volleyball is a dynamic fall team sport that challenges athletes to strategize and think critically as they work to score points by sending the ball to the ground on the opposing team's side. Gar-Field High School proudly offers three competitive girls' teams: Freshman, Junior Varsity (JV), and Varsity. Freshman and JV teams compete in best- two-of-three sets, while Varsity plays best-three-of-five sets.
Commitment & Expectations
Participation in the Gar-Field volleyball program requires dedication, discipline, and a strong work ethic.
Word of the Year: PURSUIT
At Gar-Field Volleyball, pursuit is more than just a mindset—it’s a commitment to excellence in every aspect of life. We challenge our athletes to pursue academic success, college scholarships, personal growth, and meaningful relationships. With dedication and perseverance, anything is possible.
On the court, pursuit defines the way we play. Our athletes are expected to chase down every ball, remain relentless in their efforts, and embrace a scrappy, determined style of play. Whether in competition or in life, we believe that success belongs to those who actively seek it.
This season, we embody the spirit of pursuit—a relentless drive to achieve, improve, and push beyond our limits. Will you rise to the challenge?
