- Cap and Gown: click here to order! The cap, gown, stole, and tassel are $60 total. Please order as soon as possible; prices will increase after Winter Break. Orders will be delivered directly to the Gar-Field Senior Lounge and distributed during lunch shifts. Stay tuned for announcements when they arrive, but be sure your order is placed today!

- Senior Portraits: click here to make your appointment if you have not already taken your portrait! The October 28-30 sessions are full and the final round of portrait sessions are December 11-14! December is your last chance to take your portrait at Gar-Field, receive your senior ID, ensure you are in the yearbook, and in the senior slideshow at Graduation. The yearbook sessions are free and you will receive your Senior ID Card during your appointment.

5/28: Graduation at Eagle Bank Arena at 7pm

College and Career

Graduation Information
Graduation is Friday, May 28 at 7pm at EagleBank Arena, George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia! Details to come as the date approaches.
Frequently asked questions:
Are tickets needed for guests? No; invite as many friends and family as you would like. No tickets are needed, and seating is first come, first served.
Is transportation provided for students? Yes, buses will be provided to transport any member of the Class of 2027 from Gar-Field High School to EagleBank Arena. Sign ups for any students interested in riding the bus will occur in the spring.
Is handicapped seating available at EagleBank Arena? Yes, handicapped seating is available in rows E, F, and G. Wheelchair seating is available in the West end of the arena in portals 4 and 8 and in the East end of the arena in portals 13 and 17.
Will a livestream be available for family and friends who cannot attend? Yes! The link will be provided and posted on the school website prior to graduation.

2027 Yearbook: click here to order! Email yearbook adviser Mr. Thweatt with any questions: [email protected]. Please stop by Mr. Thweatt's classroom, 1707, to pay with cash. Please pre-order your yearbook. We sold out of the 2025 and 2026 yearbooks.
