Congratulations to our outstanding scholars who will attend the 2025 Summer Residential Governor’s School Programs that are sponsored by the Virginia Department of Education and draw students from across the Commonwealth. Each program focuses on one special area of interest. Students live on a university campus for up to four weeks and are involved in classroom and laboratory work, field studies, research, individual and group projects and performances, and seminars with noted scholars, visiting artists, and other professionals. Ratanak-Ouddom Chour will attend the Mathematics, Science, and Technology program at the University of Lynchburg; Colin Eckman and Soren Strauss will attend the Agriculture program at Virginia Tech; and Rosemary Eckman will attend the Humanities program at Radford University.
